Teacher Professional Development Grant applications are now open.
Teacher Professional Development (TPD) grants provide up to $2,000 USD (or the equivalent amount in GBP/EUR) for primary and secondary educators currently teaching in public/state-funded schools in North America, the United Kingdom, and Europe. TPDs can be used to participate in high-quality professional development events which improve your ability to teach the Arabic language or about the Arab world.
Applicants may apply for funding to attend a local, regional, or virtual professional development event of their choice (some program restrictions apply). Grant funding can be used for attendance costs, including program registration and fees, local travel, and lodging for the program's duration. Please note only local or regional professional development events are eligible for travel funding.
